Good morning and happy feast of All Saints!
This is a reminder regarding the plan for November. I will be taking a break from Substack, partly because I need a little break from writing and I hope it will bring back inspiration and energy; but mostly because I need to catch up on sewing! I have quite a bit of mending, altering, and tailoring to do, as well as working on the three dresses I hope to finish by the end of the year.
You will still receive a couple of posts from me this month, however.
I was interviewed by
this past week, so when the podcast is available, I will likely send it out to you, if you would like to give it a listen. I was still a bit under the weather, but it was fun to do!Next will be the finale of In the Shadow of the Lilac. I expect this to be posted on the 10th, since I need a bit more time for writing at the moment.
I will also be sharing an interview with a young Catholic authoress on the 20th, about her Christmas-themed children’s novel!
Finally, around Thanksgiving, I plan to send out a gift guide for books and products that support other Substackers and Catholic authors, so if you’re looking for more gifting ideas, this may be helpful.
When I return in December, I expect to have quite a few posts to catch up with, both in sewing and in Star of Silvaria, The Sword of Myn’, and Rise of Sirius.
Thank you for reading! In advance, I wish you all a blessed and thankful month of November and a peaceful beginning to your Advent!
In the Hearts of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph,
Thérèse Judeana
Thank you for reading! Windflower is fully supported by its audience. Please consider supporting my work. Instead of buying me a coffee, you can leave a donation which will go towards the purchase of fabric for interactive projects, where you’ll be able to vote on what historical dress or film costume I’ll recreate! Donations also help to continue creating Windflower’s content and to support the local Latin Mass.
Please consider subscribing and sharing with your friends. Thank you, and God bless!
Podcast interview will be available tomorrow if all goes well! Get better soon and enjoy the break Therese!
